A very nice place with an undeniable atmosphere, the food is very tasty and large portions so you can really eat. I don't recommend taking soup and a second course because you are doomed to failure immediately, you won't be able to eat too much. I highly recommend it and when I'm in Jarosław again I will definitely visit it.
We came to Garnizon Smaku because it had a high rating on Google maps.
And honestly, it doesn't surprise me at all.
The restaurant definitely has its own atmosphere. I really liked the black and white photos of Jarosław from years ago. Raw brick walls, huge mirrors. In one part of the restaurant (in the part where the toilets are located at the end) there are tables and tables prepared for a maximum of two people. In another part of the restaurant, there is room for 3+. The restaurant staff consists of young and very nice employees.
On Sunday you can take advantage of the permanent offer and choose the dish of the day. We chose a delicious Kiev cutlet with boiled potatoes and a set of salads. We liked the food very much.
Large portions. To make the wait for the ordered dishes more pleasant, the restaurant staff brought us a snack - in the form of bread and lard with meat and pickled red onion.
A big plus for that.
The restaurant is located in the basement of a tenement house on the main street. During the week, the problem in this area is the lack of free and available parking.
On Sunday, you can try to find a free space in the parking lot behind the PKO. There are no fees there on Sunday.
The premises are located in the basement of a former garrison in Jarosław. There are stairs to get to the restaurant, so getting down with a stroller is difficult. The menu is very diverse, we didn't know what to choose. We chose shoarme, the chef's burger, bbq ribs and pork slices. We liked everything, the portions were huge and very nicely presented, the only reservation is the burger which was unimpressive. Probably the cutlet's fault. A big plus is the appetizer - liver pate with homemade bread, puff. Popcorn-flavored mulled beer is the best thing I've ever drank. A big plus for the children's corner. A big minus for the music in the place, which spoiled our impression of this place a bit. Maybe these weren't the most crowded hours and when we entered it was empty, but in a pub that is called garrison and draws a lot from history, I would expect slightly different music than low-key disco polo. I think I would prefer the radio or silence. The staff could probably change it upon request, but the bad taste remained, especially since the music was slightly vulgar.
